INDAHWATI JUTIAMI and Her Husband (2015)
In the 2012 Dragon Chinese New Year, the third floor inpatient department of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou received a special note of thanks, on which there wrote" When enjoying the freedom, never forget Mao Zedong; when enjoying the well-off life, think of Deng Xiaoping; when seeking for treatment, keep Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou in mind".
This note of thanks was written by overseas Chinese INDAHWATI JUTIAMI from East Java province of Indonesia. In November 2011, she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast in Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. After taking treatment there, she had her condition well controlled and discharged from the hospital. At her discharge, INDAHWATI JUTIAMI extemporaneously wrote down these words: "when seeking for treatment, keep Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou in mind." This is the voice from the bottom of her heart and also high approval to the medical facility of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou.

On June 12, 2013, in a ward on the third floor of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, INDAHWATI JUTIAMI and her husband Mr. Chen Yongyuan, who had just finished their travel to Xin Jiang and Inner Mongolia, were watching TV. Seeing us coming, they stood up to greet us. Ms. Wang is 66 years old. After finishing their trip to Xin Jiang and Inner Mongolia, she came back to Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou for follow-up check. She was in very good condition both mentally and physically. "I am doing very good now. While in Indonesia, they all said that I don’t look like a patient at all", She said happily.
INDAHWATI JUTIAMI (2013) was sharing her breast cancer treatment experience
After hearing INDAHWATI JUTIAMI’s coming back to the hospital for follow-up check, President Wang Huaizhong of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou extended his greeting to Ms. Wang and wished her early recovery. In 2011,INDAHWATI JUTIAMI was diagnosed with breast cancer through a physical examination done in Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. After taking treatment in the hospital, her PET-CT on whole body and other imaging results indicated normal. In the 2013 Chinese New Year, INDAHWATI JUTIAMI and her husband mailed a red envelope to the third floor inpatient department of the hospital. On the red envelope there wrote“when seeking for treatment, keep Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou in mind”，which warmed all hearts of the medical staffs of the third floor. “This time I bought a golden envelop, on which there is a word ‘Fu’ (meaning being blessed)”, her husband said, taking out the envelope and starting writing. Meanwhile, he said: "The treatment effect in your hospital is very good, so are the services. We have been to many places of China and we know that. "
Both INDAHWATI JUTIAMI and her husband were very talkative. They talked about their travel experience in China, their attitude towards fighting against disease, and so on. "Every year we travel to China twice. Seeing the famous scenery of China, I become relaxed and optimistic, thus, my body becomes better. I am confident in being clinically cured, namely, five years without recurrence." Then she showed me the operation wound: "Look! It is very small, isn’t it? I am recovering very fast. Your doctors and treatment technology are amazing. "
While chatting, INDAHWATI JUTIAMI’s husband Chen Yongyuan wrote on his name card: Love without borders; Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou brings hope to patients.
*Surgery, in addition to the appropriate chemotherapy and radiotherapy, are effective in treating early cancer, but certain patients in late stage of cancer may not be tolerate surgery well as they can be relatively weak. A combination of carefully planned minimally invasive therapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy can effectively reduce the side effects and discomfort of treatment and may help patient get better efficacy.
