Oct. 11, 2012, the grand unveiling ceremony of practice base of China Health Law Society and Southern Medical University International Institute of Health Law was held in Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. Chairmen of Boai Medical Group, Mr. Lin Zhicheng, Vice President of Boai Medical Group Guangzhou, Mr. Tu Xiaoming and Mr. Wang Zhezhou, President of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, Mr. Wang Huaizhong, Vicechairman of China Health Law Society and Executive President of Southern Medical University International Institute of Health Law, Mr. Jiang Hong, Executive Vice President of China Health Law Society and Southern Medical University International Institute of Health Law, Mr. Deng Kunjin, Vice President of China Health Law Society and Southern Medical University International Institute of Health Law, Mr. Lin Xionghui, Director of Academic Department of China Health Law Society and Southern Medical University International Institute of Health Law took part in the ceremony.
At the ceremony, both Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and Southern Medical University expressed their will to enhance cooperation in future. They both thought that the practice base will be a win-win cooperation, which would integrate the advantages, sources and power of both sides on academic subjects of health law, talents, technologies, scientific studies etc. This cooperation is aimed to promote medical care through education while medical care can affect education so as to improve the scientific cooperation.
When addressing the ceremony, Chairman Lin Zhicheng and Hospital Director Li Huaizhong represented Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou to express the will that both sides should contribute to training talents of health law for China. With the responsible attitude to law colleague and students, Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou would attach importance to take advantage of resources, enhance the management of trainee, and combine principles and clinical practice to improve manipulative ability of students and the quality of study. Besides, hospital would also receive the guidance from Southern Medical University on health law, which can help hospital to make out the relatively complete treatment and medical service standards. Hospital hopes that, through health law completion of hospital to further satisfy the health needs and humanistic care of patients from Southeast Asian countries.
The representatives of Southern Medical University, Secretary Jiang Hong and Director Deng Kuijin said that, this cooperation shows the great foresight of Boai Medical Group and is the approval of Southern Medical University to the efficiency of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. Through this cooperation, the two sides concerned would have vast space for development and promising prospective on medical technology, talent training and academic studies. Southern Medical University promised will perform its obligation subject to contract and wished that Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou has a promising future.
Southern Medical University and Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou signed the agreement of practice and cooperation together at the ceremony and unveiled the plaque of practice base in warm applause.
