On August 12, the director from Health Bureau of Guangzhou Tianhe district Fan Xiaoxuan and his team visited Guangzhou Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, and they took part in a symposium. President of China Boai Medical Group Lin Zhicheng, general management of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou Lin Shaohua and other leaders of the hospital warmly received the team and held a symposium with the team.
At the symposium, the president of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou Wang Huaizhong introduced the hospital to the team. At present, more than 100,000 patients have received treatments in the hospital. The international patients are mainly from the southeast areas. From 2014 to 2015, Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou was accredited by JCI (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization), gained investment from Singapore Perennial Investment Group, built strategic and cooperative relation with the National University of Singapore, sent the medical team to learn from the advanced hospital abroad, etc. The overall strength and the brand reputation have been improved.

Director Fan indicated that during 10 years of development, Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou was upgraded to the second grade hospital from the first grade at home, was accredited by JCI (the highest international medical standard), and established more than 10 medical offices abroad, which represented the strong power of the hospital. Meanwhile, the hospital made contribution to the public health in Tianhe district for providing medical treatments for the nearby people. Director Fan showed his appreciation for the hospital. Besides, he gave some suggestion to the hospital. He hoped that Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou should keep disciplining itself to create its reputation as usual.
In addition, both leaders of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and the team from Health Bureau agreed to the medical cooperation. Supported by the Health Bureau of Guangzhou Tianhe district, Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou joined into medical cooperation system to cooperate with famous third-grade hospitals at home. This cooperation would help both the hospital itself and the third-grade hospitals to get improvement and accelerate the development of health system of Tianhe district.
