Dr. Xia is good at individualized breast cancer treatment and whole course management (chemical treatment, endocrine therapy and targeted therapy), breast benign and malignant tumors, breast disease screening, genetic counseling and whole course management. 

Academic Achievements:

She has led the 5010 projects of Sun Yat-sen University and participated in a number of international and domestic multi-center clinical studies as SUB-I. Dr. Xia has studied in Case Western Reserve University Affiliated Hospital, Cleveland and Pitie-Salpetrere，Paris. 

*Surgery, in addition to the appropriate chemotherapy and radiotherapy, are effective in treating early cancer, but certain patients in late stage of cancer may not be tolerate surgery well as they can be relatively weak. A combination of carefully planned minimally invasive therapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy can effectively reduce the side effects and discomfort of treatment and may help patient get better efficacy.
