Prof. Jiang graduated from Xiangya Medical College Medical Department and was supervised by Prof. Li Jiahui, a famous general surgery expert.

He is currently the director of the Department of Surgery, the director of the Department of General Surgery, and the director of the Clinical Nutrition Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University. He is also the member of the Chinese Association of Parenteral Nutrition, the Committee of Tumor Nutrition Support and Treatment of China Anti-Cancer Association, and the chairman of the Guangdong Medical Association of Parenteral Nutrition. Prof. Jiang is a judge of the National and Guangdong Natural Science Foundation. He is editor-in-chief of External Abdominal Hernia and Surgical Nutrition, two medical textbooks of the Ministry of Health. He is also the editorial board member of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, Tumor Metabolism and Nutrition, Lingnan Modern Surgery, Guangdong Medicine, Practical Medicine and other journals.

He is good at the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, external abdominal hernia, anorectal disease, anal preservation operation for low rectal cancer, total mesenteric resection and malnutrition caused by various diseases, and has unique experience in parenteral nutrition, enteral nutrition and nutritional support for critically ill patients.


Academic Achievements:

Prof. Jiang was an early pioneer in the study of parenteral nutrition support through PICC, and his recent research focuses on the relationship between intestinal permeability and bacterial translocation and colonic compensation in short bowel syndrome. He Published more than 50 academic papers in SCI and other core journals, and completed or participated 3 scientific research projects of national, provincial and ministerial level.
