St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou being a Member Unit of Chinese Anti-cancer Association

On the afternoon of the 7th, 17th, 2018, Wang Yu, the head of the Organization Department of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and other leaders showed up in St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, on behalf of Chinese Anti-cancer Association to announce St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou as its member unit and issue a certificate.

It is reported that Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) is the only national first-level society in the oncology discipline with the registration of Chinese Science and Technology Association and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. It is also the governing unit of APFOCC and one of the seven executive directors. In addition, Chinese Anti-Cancer Association is a full member of the Union for International Cancer Control's (UICC) and it has established good partnerships with ASCO, AACR and ACS.

*Surgery, in addition to the appropriate chemotherapy and radiotherapy, are effective in treating early cancer, but certain patients in late stage of cancer may not be tolerate surgery well as they can be relatively weak. A combination of carefully planned minimally invasive therapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy can effectively reduce the side effects and discomfort of treatment and may help patient get better efficacy.
