Grateful for Mother's Love and Guarding Our Health——St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou Sends Blessings on Mother’s Day

The most beautiful thing in the world is the mother's call. What cannot be let go is the mother's longing. What’s engraved in the heart is the mother's face. No matter what’s happened in life, a mother's love always radiates warmth.

May 12, 2024, is Mother's Day, St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou prepared carnation bouquets and cakes one day in advance to send to all the mothers who are under treatment in the hospital as well as the mothers who are accompanying their family members for treatment, wishing them a happy Mother's Day!

At ten o'clock in the morning on May 11, Ms. Liu Yansheng, Assistant Director of the International Affairs Department of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, and Ms. Zhou Xiaoping, Director of the Customer Service Department, walked into the ward to express holiday blessings to every mother and gave them holiday gifts!

In a ward on the 6th floor, a young daughter accompanied her mother who is undergoing cancer treatment. They were surprised by the gifts we prepared. The daughter took the bouquet and expressed her love and blessings to her mother. They embraced each other affectionately, and everyone present was moved by it.

The Indonesian patient in ward 3 accompanied by his wife and daughter received treatment in our hospital. Today they not only received a holiday surprise, but also a health surprise: the patient's results showed that all the tumors were suppressed, which is good news, and there is no need for any treatment at present, and it is enough to perform anti-tumor immunotherapy after this admission, and the patient can be discharged from the hospital after a few more days. The patient couldn't help hugging the attending doctor Hu Ying and crying tears of joy, like a child.

When sending bouquets and gifts to patients, what we see most is the expression of being surprised. Every patient in a foreign country just wants to cure the disease and go home quickly and does not expect to harvest full of surprises and touches. We send flowers not only to express holiday wishes, but also to continuously give patients physical and mental care and comfort, even if they are alone in a foreign country, we want to make them feel that they are being paid attention to, cared for, and loved.

At St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, holiday blessing is only a part of our value-added services, in addition to traditional Chinese and foreign festivals, sightseeing tours, language, culture and entertainment, religious beliefs, and other aspects. All these are done for the recovery of patients so that every family can be happy and every mother can be happier!

*Surgery, in addition to the appropriate chemotherapy and radiotherapy, are effective in treating early cancer, but certain patients in late stage of cancer may not be tolerate surgery well as they can be relatively weak.
