Lymphoma Staging

Statistics from American Cancer Society shows 5-year survival rate of different stages of lymphoma:

Stage I lymphoma: 90%,

Stage II lymphoma: 90%,

Stage III lymphoma: 80%,

Stage IV lymphoma: 65%.

From the data listed above, it can be concluded that early detection and treatment are the key factors to improve lymphoma patients’ survival rate. Only after knowing the stages of lymphoma can doctors make appropriate treatment plans and prognosis after treatment. How is lymphoma staged?
