Building a Bridge of Health Together, The Belt and Road Initiative Anti-cancer Counterparts

On July 28, 2023, St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou was successfully approved by the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) to set up the Belt and Road Integrated Oncology Medical Training Base (Guangdong, China) of CACA, which marked that the contribution of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou in the field of oncology medicine has been recognized by China's national authority.

Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, as a national first-level society in China, continues to promote the development of fighting cancer. The Chinese Anti-Cancer Association has specially set up the Belt and Road Integrated Oncology Medical Training Base Plan, in order to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges in the field of oncology medicine in countries along the Belt and Road, and assist relevant countries to improve the level of cancer prevention and treatment. The participation of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou will undoubtedly inject new vitality into the implementation and advancement of the plan.

China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) has been undertaking the Belt and Road International Joint Training Centre for Oncology Professionals project from 2017 to 2022. St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou is the 6th training base of China Anti-Cancer Association's Belt and Road Integrated Oncology Medicine, with 18 international cutting-edge technologies and MDT multidisciplinary expert team, which is deeply committed to minimally invasive oncology treatment. Becoming the training base of Belt and Road Integrated Oncology Medicine of China Anti-Cancer Association is a new milestone honor for St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou.

In the future, St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou will give full play to the platform role of the base and form all-round cooperation with the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association. Actively carry out academic exchanges in the field of oncology medicine, health education, medical cooperation, and minimally invasive oncology technical support in Southeast Asia and the world.
