On the afternoon of September 6, 2023, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Guangzhou, China held a reception to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day at the Guangzhou Garden Hotel. St. Stamford International Medical Group President Lin Zhicheng, Vice President Lin Daoxuan, Chief Administrative Officer Jin Nongyi and other leaders received the reception. The event gathered leaders of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, a subsidiary of St. Stamford International Medical Group, and the Consul General of Vietnam in Guangzhou, Vu Viet Anh.

Mr. Vu Viet Anh also briefed the audience on the basic situation of Vietnam's recent economic and social development. He said that in recent years, Vietnam has made great achievements in developing the economy, medical care, and improving people's living standards. As a bridge between Guangdong and Vietnamese provinces and cities, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Guangzhou will do its best to strive for the welfare of the people, seek common development, and give full play to the role of a link to strengthen the comprehensive cooperative relationship between the two countries.
At the reception, Lin Zhicheng, President of St. Stamford International Medical Group, expressed warm congratulations on the 78th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day, expressed his good hope for the deep friendship between the two countries, and had frank and in-depth exchanges with Mr. Vu Viet Anh, Consul General of Vietnam in Guangzhou, and other official representatives. He mentioned that since its establishment, Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou has been closely engaged with Vietnam in the medical field, and has served nearly 1,000 Vietnamese patients and carried out hundreds of health lectures and medical exchange activities in Vietnam. In the future, based on the national platform of the Belt and Road Integrated Oncology Medical Training Base of the China Anti-Cancer Association, the hospital will jointly promote the exchange of medical technology and experience with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Guangzhou, to contribute to the health and well-being of the people of the two countries.
St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou has always been well-known for its excellent medical services and advanced diagnosis and treatment technology, and the reception further demonstrated its position in the international medical field, expressed its willingness to strengthen medical cooperation with Vietnam, and promoted further development of medical cooperation and exchanges between Guangzhou and Vietnam.
